Healthcare for Ontario Seniors

On April 29, 2020, MROO sent a letter to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Ontario Premier Doug Ford regarding COVID-19 relief efforts. 

In 2020 and 2021 during the peak of the COVID-19 outbreak in Canada, MROO recognized a real need for assistance local Ontario communities. To address this growing need in our communities, MROO put together a donation program to help out local organizations during a very challenging time. In 2020, MROO donated a total of $63,000 to organization need across Ontario, and in 2021 MROO donated a total of $63,000 to local organization across Ontario. Eye Care Ontario (2021): MROO sent out a letter to Minister Christine Elliott on July 30, 2021regarding the dispute between the Ontario government and Ontario optometrists. You can find the letter here.
